How to Choose a Digital Marketer in Bangladesh: A 10-Point Checklist

Before you hire a digital marketer in Bangladesh, or hire one from Bangladesh for the Middle East, UK or US, check these 10 things: verifiable results, tracking, AI search skills, account ownership and more.

Short answer: The best digital marketer for you is the one who can show results you can check, sets up tracking before spending your money, understands AI search as well as Google, and leaves you owning every account. Use the ten checks below before you hire, whether you're a business in Dhaka or a company in Dubai, London or New York hiring remotely from Bangladesh.

The 10-point checklist

1. Results you can verify

Ask for Search Console and GA4 screenshots with dates, and live websites or profiles they built. A real number with a source beats "100% growth" with none.

2. Tracking before spending

A good marketer sets up GA4, Google Tag Manager, the Meta Pixel and the Conversions API before the first boost. Otherwise nobody can say which taka produced which lead.

3. AI search, not just Google

Ask what AEO and GEO mean and how they would get your brand into Google's AI Overviews or ChatGPT's answers. In 2026, a marketer who only talks about "keywords" is a year behind.

4. You own the accounts

Your ad accounts, Google Business Profile, analytics and domain should be in your name, with the marketer added as a user. Never the other way round.

5. A plan, not a package of posts

"Thirty posts a month" is an output, not a strategy. Ask what the posts are for, who they target and how success will be measured.

6. Plain-language reporting

You should understand every report: what moved, why, and what happens next. Vanity metrics without context are a warning sign.

7. The right platforms for your market

Facebook still drives much of the buying in Bangladesh, Google captures people already searching, LinkedIn suits B2B, and TikTok and Instagram reach younger buyers. A good marketer chooses for your audience, not out of habit.

8. Bangla and English

If you sell in Bangladesh, your copy should sound local. If you sell abroad, it should sound native there. Ask for samples in both.

9. Industry understanding

Healthcare, real estate, restaurants and ecommerce each have different rules and buying cycles. Ask about experience in your sector.

10. Staying current

Ask, "What changed in digital marketing in the last three months?" The answer will tell you whether they are still learning.

Red flags

  • Guaranteed number-one rankings.
  • Boost-only strategies with no tracking.
  • Refusing to give you admin access to your own accounts.
  • Follower growth that is fast and from the wrong countries.

Hiring from Bangladesh for the Middle East, UK, Europe or the US

Dhaka is GMT+6. That overlaps most of the Gulf working day and the UK and European morning, while US projects can run asynchronously with scheduled calls. Agree on reporting days, response times and a shared dashboard up front.

How I measure up

I publish the source next to every result on my site: 800+ backlinks and 30+ SEO articles for healthcare brands, 8.7K Search Console impressions in six months, and a new restaurant placed in Google's AI Overview in its first month. See the proof or start a conversation.
