Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Touhidul Hasan Rifat ("I", "me") handles personal data on touhidulhasanrifat.com (the "site"). It applies to visitors from every country, including Bangladesh, the Middle East, the United Kingdom, the European Union and the United States.

What data I collect
- Messages you send me. The contact form does not store anything on this site. It opens WhatsApp or your email app with your message filled in. When you send it, I receive what you wrote (for example your name, business, market and goal) through WhatsApp or email.
- Reviews you submit. The review form sends your name, optional business and role, the service, your star rating, your review and your permission to publish to this site's server. I read each review; once I approve it, it is shown publicly on this site with your name. To stop spam, your IP address is kept only as a scrambled code for 24 hours.
- Your preferences. Your cookie choice, and your theme if you pick one, are saved in your own browser's storage. They are not sent to me.
- Analytics, only with your consent. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects pseudonymous usage data: pages viewed, approximate location (country and city), device, browser and the site that referred you.
- Advertising measurement, only with your consent. If you accept marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags may record that you visited, so I can measure and improve ads.
- Technical logs. The hosting provider may log technical data such as IP address, browser and time of request to keep the site secure and working.

Who I share it with
I never sell personal data. It is shared only with the services that make the site and my replies work: the website host, WhatsApp (Meta) and email providers for messages, and Google and Meta for analytics and advertising only if you consent. Some of these providers process data outside Bangladesh, including in the United States, and use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where the law requires them.
How long I keep it
- Messages: for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any project that follows, then no longer than two years.
- Reviews: for as long as the review is shown, and removed whenever you ask.
- Analytics data: up to 14 months, the retention set in Google Analytics.
- Your cookie choice and theme: until you change them or clear your browser storage.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the EU and UK GDPR, the UAE and Saudi Arabian personal data protection laws, or US state privacy laws may give you the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object to or restrict its use, to receive a copy, and to withdraw consent at any time. To withdraw cookie consent, use Cookie settings in the footer. For anything else, email me and I will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and professionals and is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes too. Significant changes will also be shown on the site.
