How a New Restaurant Reached Google's AI Overview in Its First Month: A 31-Day Playbook
Case study from Dhaka: how Al-Salwa Pan-Asian Cuisine went from zero to five platforms in 31 days and appeared in Google's AI Overview in its first month online.
Short answer: Al-Salwa Pan-Asian Cuisine, a new restaurant in Mohammadpur, Dhaka, had no online presence in May 2026. In 31 days I built it on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Google Business Profile, published a month of content, and kept every business detail identical everywhere. Within the first month the restaurant appeared in Google's AI Overview.
The starting point
- A brand-new restaurant with no website traffic, no social accounts and no Google listing.
- A local audience that searches on Google Maps and scrolls Facebook before choosing where to eat.
- One month to make the brand findable and give people a reason to visit.
Week 1: build the foundation everywhere at once
I created and optimised five platforms in the same week: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Google Business Profile.
The rule for every one of them: the same name, address and phone number, written exactly the same way. This consistency is what lets Google, and the AI systems that read Google's data, treat the business as one confirmed entity instead of five loose profiles.
On the Google Business Profile I set the categories, opening hours and map pin, uploaded more than 20 photos, and linked the delivery partners Foodpanda and Foodi.
Week 2: a brand people recognise
A new restaurant needs to look established from day one. I designed a creative system covering profile images, covers, banners and offer designs, so every post and listing looked like the same brand.
Weeks 2–4: content with a rhythm
- 24 Facebook posts in one month, about six per week.
- Among them: 18 food photo posts, 3 Reels and 2 promotional offer creatives.
- Copy written in natural Bengali-English, the way people in Dhaka actually post and search.
The AEO and GEO layer
This is what moved the brand into the AI Overview:
- Answer-ready descriptions. Each profile opened with a plain answer to "what is this place and where is it?", not a slogan.
- Consistent entity data across every platform and delivery app.
- Local keyword signals on the Google Business Profile for "near me" searches.
The first paid push
Once the organic base was live, I launched the first paid Facebook campaign on a boosted Reel, the format that was already earning attention, rather than a cold static ad.
The result
- Five platforms live, from zero, in 31 days.
- A place in Google's AI Overview within the first month online.
- A monthly performance report delivered to the owner.
What you can copy for your business
- Launch every profile with identical name, address and phone details. Fix any differences today.
- Write your first line as an answer, not a tagline.
- Fill your Google Business Profile completely: categories, hours, photos and links.
- Post on a steady rhythm before you spend on ads, then boost what already works.
